Where is there common ground between generations?

One of the stark showings of the past few seminars has been the gap in positivity and the "meant for" sentiments between 18-35-year-olds and 65-75+ on the terms tested. I know some of the more unifying terms include those that are community-based but I wonder, including those terms, what other terms have the potential of being a place where generations can find common ground and create a basis for shared language. I'm also interested in seeing how race, geography, civic education, and civic experiences weigh against these measures as well. I remember it was mentioned by one of the speakers that they felt that we were currently experiencing a "revolution" in civic language in which both generations are finding terms more favorable than they would've two years ago so I'm curious about what may be potential causes of that.
